The Lincoln County Health Department’s family planning program ensures access to family planning care for those seeking such services. Our Family Planning services are designed to support planned conception, spacing of births, preventing unintended pregnancies, and promoting optimal reproductive health. The Family Planning Clinic guarantees everyone access to family planning services.
The Family Planning Clinic offers pregnancy testing, examinations, counseling, contraceptive education, referrals, and other preventative services related to family planning. Emergency contraception is also available for women who have had unprotected intercourse within the past 72 hours. Whether you have a medical card or have no insurance at all and need birth control, we can help. The clinic conducts comprehensive physical examinations for both women and men.

A variety of contraceptive methods are provided, including the Intrauterine Device (IUD), Hormonal Implants, Birth Control Shots, Contraceptive Ring, Contraceptive Patch, Birth Control Pills, Foam and Condoms, Diaphragms, Vaginal Contraceptive Film, Emergency Contraceptive Pills, and options for Surgical Sterilization (Tubal Ligation and Vasectomy), as well as education on Natural Family Planning and Abstinence.

The HAPI Project is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of mothers during and after pregnancy. It also provides resources for infants, children, and fathers. The services are delivered by caring and dedicated nurses, social workers, and care coordinators.
